Tiny Tumblers soft play 1-2 years old.
This is held at the South Dartmoor Leisure Centre term time only. The cost is £3.60. The room is full of wooden apparatus where the children learn to walk along, climb etc to build up their balance and confidence. There is a song time half way through then its back to working their way through the obstacles, playing with any balls or balloons that have been released. The children are given a sticker at the end. WARNING if your child cannot walk but can crawl be very careful if you go to this session as it is better if they can walk it might be better to go to the bounce fun.
10am to 11am
Baby and Toddler swimming
This is a session for babies and toddlers at the South Dartmoor Leisure Centre. There is no tutor so it is up to you what you do within reason. I have found this session very nice because if you are running late it does not matter or if your baby only wants to stay in for a short time it does not matter. I have been to other baby sessions in other pools and they have put out toys for the babies to play with, they do not do this at this session which is a shame.

Little Fishies
This is term time only. This is held at the methodist church.
There is lots of toys for all ages. Then a bit of singing and then refreshments for all.

KINGSTON PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP
I know that this is outside Ivybridge but not that far so I have decided to add it to the site. I have not been so cannot give many details.
It takes place at BIGBURY MEMORIAL HALL, ST ANNS CHAPEL.It cost £1.00 PER SESSION

This is held at the South Dartmoor Leisure centre, term time only. The cost is £3.60 As Abi is younger than this we have not been to the session but we have been to the younger sessions. The room is full of wooden apparatus where the children learn to walk along, climb etc to build up their balance and confidence. There is a song time half way through then its back to working their way through the obstacles, playing with any balls or balloons that have been released. The children are given a sticker at the end. I guess that this session is very similar but if anybody wants to add anything please email me.

A music and movement class for children from 18 months. At the scout hut next to the leisure centre. Bookable half termly.

St John's baby and toddler group
It runs on wednesdays from 1.30 to 3.00, it costs 50p which includes a drink and a biscuit. The age range is babies to pre school age with lots of toys and sit down activities including drawing, jigsaws and playdough. Parents / grandparents / carers welcome.

This is for anyone with a child under the age of 1 year. It is held in the baby room at Ivybridge Health Centre. Some weeks there are special talks on baby subjects, other weeks it is just a get together for a chat.
