Hi Sharon - you did a good job here! Well done - it must have takes forever to gather all of this info! I thought I would have a browse through as I am currently in the process of trying to put together some kind of small business to promote the aquisition of language (or how babies/children learn to talk!) I wondered whether anyone else had had the same idea, but it seems that they haven't. I don't know what it will be like yet, but I am really keen to do something in this area of child development. I feel passionately that children should be given every opportunity to develop language and I have personal knowledge of speech therapy, although I am not qualified as a speech and language therapist. Please email me if you have any comments or ideas that will help me: pendeenwilson@hotmail.co.uk. Website is great and really easy to use - do you advertise it somewhere, because I think you should. My children are school age now, but I would have found it very useful when they were younger.

Sharon, thank you for compiling such a comprehensive website. I have just moved to the area and have 3 children aged 4, nearly 3 and nearly 1 and there seems to be something for all of us!

Brilliant site - my health visitor gave me the address as I'm desperate to find something locally for my 1 yr old (we moved to ivybridge in November)those pamphlets they give you just aren't as clear - thanks, just thought I'd let you know the word is still spreading. Samantha.

I attend a very good playgroup on a Friday morning 10-12. It's called Green Pastures and is at Bittaford Methodist Church which is for babies and toddlers up to school age. Everyone is really friendly and there is no set charge they just ask for a donation. You might want to add this to your website.

Well done Sharon!! Fantastic website. Every village/town should have one! I met a mum of 3month old the other day who wants to know what to do and I directed her here. Easy! She was very pleased and said she'd have a look. I also received a small piece of paper with the website address on it when I was also sent info on the baby massage course (I guess this was sent by health visitor!) So word is spreading. Your hard work will be a help to many. WELL DONE!
