Breast feeding support group
This is a support group for mum's who are breast feeding or who would like to breast feed but are having problems. The group meet at the new children centre.

Aquababies
This is a now pre paid sessions which have to be booked each half term. I guess the sessions are as they were so a bit of play and then a structured session and then a bit of play. Abi and I still go to Totnes on a Thursday to their session as you can pay on a week by week basis. There we have 20 mins play, 20 mins structure session and then 20 mins play. We have been going to this session since Abi has been 3 months.

Kidaddle
A new Music and Movement Group "Kidaddle" in Ivybridge at the South Dartmoor leisure Centre starting the 3rd of November for the under 5's its open to all families giving them the opportunity to have a wonderful shared experience, singing favourite well known songs, new songs with actions, a chance to play percussion instruments and a chance to explore puppets & tactile fabrics such as scarfs, Lycra, ribbons and a parachute.
The Music & Movement session lasts for half an hour but there is time for play and chat and a biscuit afterwards in a relaxed atmosphere of the leisure centre
Cost of the session is £3.50 per family, no extra cost for siblings, there is no need to pre-book so no worries of missing a session and losing money. The first session is half price

Old Fire Station Playgroup
It costs £2 per family it is all free play, and each week there is always a prepared craft to do if wanted, there is also a separate
indoor sandpit area lots of toys other crafts, such as play dough, painting, a large chalk board. lots of books, there is also a large
indoor playhouse with a kitchen area etc.
Refreshments are provided for adults and kids

Young Mums' Group
The group is open to all parents under the age of 25 every monday from 1.30-3.30, the group will be starting a new course next week moday 28th april in basic literacy - hoping to do there national tests and build confidence to help there children's development this is be run by adult learning and a creche is provided.

NCT(National Childbirth Trust) Pop in and play
This is held at Ivybridge methodist church. All ages are welcome especially bumps and under ones. There is lots of toys, coffee and biscuits and a nice group of people to have a chat with.
